It would be nice to know about the length you stretch to hold the bars and what frame measurements are important for your personal inseam, etc. There seem to be many methods of fitting and a lot of myth to the art. I’d like a solid way to fit a bike taking note of every area of sizing.

Have you got any knowledge on bike fitting? What’s the best way to find out the best frame size?

How do you determine the height of your handlebars? I get numbness in my palms and fingers.

You make no mention of adjusting handlebar height. Is there a “correct height” or do you consider this to be down to personal preference?

Go to your local, reputable, independent bicycle dealer! Bicycle Fit is best done and finalised in-person with test rides etc. Trust us on this.
