I’m looking to convert an old mountain bike for commuting in Los Angeles but I’d still like to be able to “reconvert” for off-road use. Is this practical and if it is could you produce a tutorial describing some important considerations? I think it would be useful for middle-of-the-road people who aren’t heavy into cycling on either end of the spectrum and don’t want to spend too much money to be able to enjoy both.
