2.  SAAVEDRA Rims normally come with special nipple washers.  I built up some clinchers with their nipple washers and they are great.(24 hole front and 28 hole rear)  Now I have built up some tubulars(24 hole front and rear) using standard steel nipple washers on these very thin walled rims.  I have not ridden on them yet.  I used double nipple washers on the drive side of the rear wheel.  These rims are only 280 grams and if I had the SAAVEDRA nipple washers they would spread the load over a greater area.  Have you any comments on bullet proofing these ultra light classic rims?</description>
